I have bad creditt and have been trying to rent an apt. I have been turned down on numerious occasions by different complexes. I finally was told by my parrents that they would rent an apt and list me as an occupant so that I could have a place to live. I went around and looked at apartments for my parrents to rent. I came accross Lennox Vista Apartments and spoke to a lady there explaining the situation that I was having. She gave me two aplications to fill out. I told her that I didnt see why I would have to fill out an application when it was my parrents who were going to be the ones renting the apartment. She told me that my application was just for record purpasses to keep on file. I later find out that she ran my application first and saw the bad creddit history and then I was told that this may effect weather or not the apt. Corperation would agree to rent out the apt. At all. I feel that I had ben misled and that they are taking unfair and illeagal actions in there descision making. What rights do I have and what actions should I take?
