Reality versus promises

A few months ago, my husband and I decided to change from Comcast to Direct TV for our phone, computer and television service. We were told the monthly rate would be approximately $134 per month. There was an installation fee, but it would be discounted.in addition, there would be other discounts. We never received the promised installation discount and our bill for services increased every month. When we asked why the bill was so high, we were told it was because packages we didn't want had been added. Although we asked to have these services removed, the company declined to do so. It will now cost us $300 to have the service disconnected in addition to the monthly bill for over $200.
