We were consumers of Directv satellite service for a year. We never missed paying a monthly bill with direct pay from our debit card. When we decided to move, I called them and asked to be disconnected last May. The service was disconnected but they continued to draw money from our account. I called them twice to ask for a box to send their receiver and connections back to them. At that time they promised to send a box, however they sent us a bill each month charging us for service.

No box arrived over the next 3 months even though I called them twice to remind them. At that time I boxed the items up and sent them to Directv with insurance and confirmation of delivery. They received the box Sept. 25 in Danville, VA., which is their main office. Directv continued to send a bill and calling us telling us that they had service to us at our new home, which is not true. Their people answering the phones tell me that "You shouldn't sent that back to us. That was the wrong thing to do!" We have not had service for over 4 months now but they are threatening to "turn off our valuable tv service." I am at the conclusion that the next step is for us to get legal services against them.
