Express First and Priority Services Treated as Standard Mail

Please think twice before falling for the FedEx Express First and Priority Services. They are nothing more than a gimmick to raise apparently much needed funding. If there are any difficulties encountered by FedEx, including weather, your Express First and Express Priority shipment becomes standard overnight mail with a 5:00 pm deadline.
Unfortunately, we believed "First" and "Priority" meant something. We understand weather delays. We also believed that if there was a delay, our packages would be delayed but still considered to be "First" when the trucks went out. Unfortunately, we were wrong... We will not be using FedEx anymore for time-sensitive materials.
