On May 5, I subscribed to Direct TV for their services. I was promised installation of their system within 4 days of payment. I gave my debit card information the same day I subscribed to the service and there was no problem with them taking my money.

I waited four days and finally six and called Direct TV to inquire as to why it was taking so long for the installation. Finally after the supervisor came back to the phone she informed me that Direct TV had cancelled the install because of money owed from my new address.

I informed her that this was rental property and that this had been disputed for some time. I have called over 6 times attempting to get the $219.00 back and was transferred from one desk to another. Finally after waiting on the phone sometimes for 20-30 minutes I was always hung up on. This has been the most frustrating experience of my life.

Please help me get the $219.00 back that was stolen from me by Direct TV. This was deception and wire fraud without question. I will await your response before informing my extensive e mail list to use extreme caution when dealing with these thieves.

Indeed we live in a nation of thieves especially in the corporate world where the typical scenario is to frustrate the consumer by keeping them on the phone for long periods of time, transferring them from one department to the other before finally disconnecting them. More times than not this results in the victimized consumer simply not calling back anymore. If nothing else I will expose them as common criminals.
