Dishonest and Incompetent - Shipping by Fed EX

Their service is LOUSY, I opened an account and scheduled a pick up for two days later for 9:30am. They never showed up and we kept calling finally a supervisor apologized for the mix up and promised that our items would be picked up no later than 12 noon. They never showed up resulting in me and my daughter having to load up 14 boxes and make several trips in a small rental car to take the 14 boxes to their Decatur office in Atlanta. Our flight was 2:30pm and by the time we got the last set of boxes to their office is was 1:59. Needless to say we missed our flight and had to pay almost $800 each (a total of $1,579.80) for me and my daughter to get a flight home. FedEx is refusing to reimburse this cost as they claim is is not their fault.in the end, thanks to FedEx's dishonesty and incompetence I am now out $1,580 and have to go get a lawyer to sue them = more work for me.
