My Computer Works
Took my $200, told me my computers hard drive had crashed and to replace it. Took it to a local repairman and he's fixing it. Why couldn't they just fix it

They took my $200.00 and told me my laptops hard drive had crashed, unrepairable. I needed to buy a new one.

Took it to a local repairman to get my pictures off of it and put them on an external hard drive.

He told me he can repair it andhe's charging me only $40.00.

Why didn't they just fix it???
