Ear injury - Tool Rental

I rented a floor sander and use eye protection and a mask from the dust. I did not use ear protection and have had ringing in my ears for weeks with them not getting better. I went back over the contract and looked around the store and i did not see any sign of the need for ear protection when renting the floor sande
