Order Damaged in Transit

I ordered a 15 pack of 8' fluorescent bulbs online. My credit card was charged on May 4, and I was notified that the order shipped on May 7. Then, nothing. No delivery. I went back to the original shipping confirmation email and clicked on the UPS tracking #. At the UPS website, it was stated that on May 10 "The package was damaged in transit. UPS will notify the sender with the details./All merchandise discarded... Damage reported./Damage claim under investigation." That was 3 weeks ago & I have not received any communication from Home Depot, nor a replacement shipment, nor a refund to my credit card. It appears that they dropped the ball here. I just called their customer service and I was told that my refund is now being processed, but there wasn't any reassurance that any future online orders placed with Home Depot should not encounter a similar fate. I am getting a refund because I called and requested it, not because anyone at Home Depot initiated it. The damage occurred in transit, which may not have been Home Depot's fault, unless they did not pack the product properly, but I do not think I could feel comfortable ordering online from them again.
