Double bills, refuses to correct errors

After 1st contract ended, re-signed with T-Mobile for cell service.

Instead of receiving the contracted "Basic Plan, " they mistakenly activated a "Family Plan."

I had to make 7 phone calls to T-Mobile before the error was corrected. They changed my account number and corrected the service plan, but now I'm receiving bills for the erroneous "Family Plan" account and the new "Basic Plan" account.

Last week I received a call from a T-Mobile representative demanding a payment on the "Family Plan" account. I explained that there was an error in the old account and that my "Basic" account was actually current. The representative insisted that I now had 2 accounts (a Family Plan and a Basic Plan) and that unless I was prepared to pay by phone, she would disconnect my service. When I refused to pay for an account that I did not have, the cellphone went dead.

T-Mobile's representative (Michelle at 877-819-6042) has made my next choice of cellular provider a simple one.
