Crummy Sub-par products last about as long as the warranty

While building my house I only had a few choices for fixtures, building materials, etc. Many of the materials used in the construction came from Home Depot and today I am unhappy to report that every single item purchased at Home Depot has failed after only a couple years. Many of the items purchased lasted only until the warranty expired. Their products are sub-par to say the least. The following is a list of items that have failed.

Bathroom Sink Fixture.
The fresh water valve cracked after bing install for less than 6 months and slowly flooded the adjacent room and the water did several thousand dollars worth of damage.

(2) Toilet fixtures turned out to be junk after about 9 months of use. One ball-cock started to malfunction shortly after installation (about 3 weeks) and had to be replaced. The moron at the store told me I had to bring the whole fixture in to get a replacement. Then the bolts holding the stool stripped because they were cheap plastic. The seat became wobbly and eventually broke off. Now the upstairs ball-cock has failed (JUNK) and must be replaced.

The faucet to my wash up sink busted and caused a fountain in my workshop. No one was even near it, it just busted and scared the hell out of my wife (watching tv at the time).

I purchased 3 ceiling fans at home depot and one of them has melted down completely (motor melt down) and the remote quit on one of the other ones.

(3) Torche lamps none of which are left unbroken. The ceramic bulb bases cracked after about 2 bulb changes and then the threads holding the lamp pole together stripped. When they went limp I trashed them.

All their products seem to be time bombs waiting to fail after the warranty expires.
