Untrained Staff Leads to Demise of PC

Computers & Services

Went in to the shop to buy a brand new movie card for my Computer. Chose to acquire some more storage along with a fresh power aswell. Contacted a worker within the computer division and advised him concerning the produce and type of my Computer that we had bought from Bestbuy annually earlier.income associate clerks me to one of the most costly card they have and explained it'd be ideal for my Computer.

Got home to complete the installation so when sitting the movie card I smashed a SATA wire about the motherboard since this card actually would not have the ability to match my motherboard. Upon attempting to take away the card I sliced-up my fingers and ripped the PCI Express outlet from my motherboard, doing permanent harm to the machine.

The supervisor I noticed who earlier within the evening offered me 10% from the movie card beacuse I had been truthful concerning the pricing, declined me-any fulfillment after I delivered towards the shop. He kept saying they might have their "Geek Squad" deploy the card given that they were experts.

Until the Geek Squak might fold room, there might have been no method to deploy stated card in my own program. Evidently there's no method to achieve corporate administration when you have an issue having a store-manager, yet another customer support point.

Myself and my company won't invest another cent at Bestbuy again. It's a shame that people reach the demise of customer support within this business.
