Promised redelivery never processed after four-hour wait

FedEx delivered my package today and left a "sweet little door tag" stating that they attempted to deliver my package, but no one was home, so either pick it up or they would re-attempt to deliver tomorrow. Let's rewind. I was taking a shower when I heard the doorbell (oops), and I could not answer the door. That is when I noticed the door tag, and I called the 800 number immediately. I spoke to an associate, and a reattempt was to happen. I waited for 4 hours, then called FedEx, and the message of reattempt was never processed. What? I spoke to 2 more people, until I got to the manager. Basically, everyone I spoke to lied. Excuse-ville!
