How do they sleep at night? BOA just charged me $6.00 to cash THEIR OWN $19.00 check

Are they serious? How does anybody who works for BOA sleep at night? From the president down to the tellers, you guys should be ashamed.

Listen, I know banks are open to make money, however $6.00 to cash their own $19.00 check is off the charts excessive. If they are going to charge people to cash their own checks, then they should at least do it by a percentage & and not — a non negotiable flat fee. How dare they?! I am emailing and faxing my Congressman to complain about BOA, and I suggest anyone reading this do the same. This is a gross injustice to their customers who pay a fee to bank with them, and even more of an injustice to the poor guy who get's stuck receiving one of their checks. Blatant rip - off!
