So i called direcpath at the beginning of april to get info on ending my service in mid may when i move - just wanted to get an idea of how much of a notice they needed, etc. So i called back specifically on april 17 so that my internet service would be disconnected on may 17, the day i move. I purchased the modem so they don't even have to come pick it up. Just simply cut the shit off in my name. Um no. They are now telling me that i have to pay my current bill which is due may 15, but covers service from may 5-april 4.. I would not have a problem with that, if they were planning on refunding me for service paid for may 17-june 4.. Except that they have me scheduled for ending service for may 22 (based on an automatic 'computer assignment') and will not refund me for partial month that i wont even be using their service. Not only that, but they don't even speak english well enough to tell me how crappy they are treating me. Direcpath is a piece of shit company and i will never use them again. If i ever think about moving somewhere that they are the only internet service provider. Eff that. I'll do without internet. They suck!!
