Direct TV
Beware

My mother who is 84 signed up for Direct TV in April.in August, we moved her to Florida due to senility, weight of 85 pounds and constant falling. I called Direct TV to terminate the service and arranged to return the equipment. I was told that once we returned the equipment, all we would owe was $30. We got the final bill today and there was a $300 early termination fee. I called and was on the phone an hour and a half, talking to 4 different people asking if this fee could be waived due to her mental and physical state, plus she had moved into a community which

Forbid dishes. It was like talking to robots, even the supervisor who supposedly had the authority to waive the fee. This company doesn't care about its customers. Don't sign up in the first place. She did not know what she was agreeing to and they couldn't care less. Beware!
