I'm writing this way today because my whole comment would not fit in the comment card. I will NEVER book with Travelocity ever again. I will make sure to tell all friends and family that this is a horrible agency to attempt to book a perfect vacation with. The first time I booked a vacation with Travelocity I ended up having to pay for a lot more than what was said on the site. Then my second time was the worst. First, when I booked the vacation the site makes everything confusing. I needed to book a car with my trip and the option would not come up after multiple attempts. After trying for hours I just called the Travelocity number and booked it with a nice lady. When I booked it she seemed very knowledgable. She did not tell us about the extra charges for the car when we arrived to pick it up and that we would need a credit card to match the driver's license which turned into a disaster and just an overall cancellation of the car. While canceling the car we were notified that it would be 3 days before the money would be back in the account and that the amount totaled around $350. We waited 3 days and called again and were directed that we needed to call Travelocity instead. When we called Travelocity we talked a very nice young man and were notified that he would cancel the car for us since I guess it had not gone through and that it would take around 2 weeks. He also sent us an email survey to fill out about the phone call. 2 weeks later we called Travelocity again because we had still not received the refund and then we were notified that we would only be receiving around $100. That's outrageous considering we were told more than 3 times that amount even by the young man from Travelocity. Then we were told that we had "hung up" on the man that had sent us the survey. Which I do not recall. I told the man that there was no such hanging up and we had even received a survey at the end of the cancellation refund conversation. I do not like being called a liar nor being treated like a child. Many times I was told not to speak.in the end, I was notified that the car was never cancelled nor had the refund went through so now we will be waiting another 7-10 days for a refund that's less than 3 times the amount we should be receiving. I am not satisfied at all at how Travelocity has treated our family and will not be spending anymore money here. I would like a response email back as well.
