We booked a cruise through a different website, but still needed a one night stay in a hotel before our cruise so I called Travelocity. That was my FIRST MISTAKE! The representative booked the WRONG DATE even after I made her confirm with me what date she selected! I noticed my confirmation email had the wrong date so I called customer service. They gave me the run around but finally said they would call me back with a different hotel, stating it was definitely their mistake. After a few hours, they called back and booked a reasonable replacement, no extra charge even though the price was slightly higher. Three days later, I get another phone call stating the hotel they chose had a block and would not allow them to book a room. I then sat on hold for 30 minutes waiting for the representative to make some calls to find a hotel that met our criteria. He never found anything and said he would call back. I am still waiting for the call... But our trip is less than three weeks away and this is stressing me out! I will not book with Travelocity again due to their errors and horrible customer service.
