Defective rifle refused return and account closed

Fairly simple: I bought a new rifle from them. Received it Friday, went to shoot it Sunday - click, click. Contacted them and they did nothing but refer me to the manufacturer, DPMS, where it would take 10-14 business days (2-3 weeks). They said they would pay to ship it ground to DPMS (what they called going "above and beyond"), and I said no - you'll overnight it there and back, or give me a refund, since ground shipping would add another 7-10 days.

That's where they tried to hide behind the idea that they couldn't take back a gun because it was "used," and couldn't exchange it for one they could sell as "new." I told them that wasn't my problem, and spoke to someone named Derek, who claimed to be the General Manager. He didn't like my attitude, or the fact that I felt Buds - not the manufacturer - should be the one taking care of me since I bought it from them. No deal there; he didn't want to address the issue, so he closed my account and reluctantly said he'd issue a refund.
