Junk GE Hot Water Heater with No Repair Service Available

Home Depot sold me a junk GE hot water tank in August. They told me to call 1800gecares, and the customer service person told me to "turn the power off and open it up and wrench down on everything to make sure it was all tight and call her back." I am disabled and told her no. They called me back and said they have nobody in the area and that I should find someone on my own. I went back to the store to see if they could send someone out, and they said no. I had it professionally installed, and they kept jerking me around for about 30 days. If I had not spent $200 to get it installed, I would have ripped it out and thrown it through their window.

Finally I cancelled my card ("ripoff"), cut up my card and taped it to a letter I sent to the CEO in Atlanta named Frank. I got NO response from them, but the manager from the store called me back and asked if there was anything he could do to resolve this. I said he could have sent someone out and FIXED IT. Then I read a letter Home Depot put out in the Boston Globe about all the people they hired to help with customer complaints, bragging about how good they were. Not.

Then I got my first bill from their Citibank and was shocked to see 25.99%. Corporate communist. I will NEVER set foot in a Home Depot again, nor will I EVER buy a GE product again.

P.S. FYI, I think Tony "Smoke" Stewart is terrible.
