Bad hot water heaters do not buy hot water heaters from home depot

I bought a hotpoint hot water heater from home depot for 380.00 two years ago and now find out from them that home depot will not replace have to go to general electric.

Contacted general electric to find out that a safty device inside hot water heater has been tripped and i have to buy a new hot water heater now that averages about 200.00 a year.

The water heater that was replaced the first time was a kenmore made in 1979 and as for me i have to pay out another 400.00 to get a new hot water heater and you can bet i will get something i know i can get parts fo
