T-Mobile Collection Practices are Scandilous

I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation and how they handled it before I approach them to settle this matter.
I went to T-Mobile in March to purchase a Pay go plan for my daughter's birthday. I did not want a long term contract. Through fast talk and hard sell tactics I fell for the 2 year contract. Well the first month my daughter racked up over $200 dollars on a contract amount that was only supposed to be $65 per month. When I called to complain I was told "OH you could have avoided this my signing up for te unlimited text plan" so I signed up for the unlimited text plan for $14.95 and paid the bill owed of $200.
The next month my daughter left the phone in her pocket and it went throught the wash cycle never to be used, seen or heard from again. So, I called the customer service number again and was told I was still obligated to pay the 2 year contract and if I wanted to replace the phone it would be $100 plus the cost of a new phone.
I did not get a new phone and paid the bills as the came. Frustrated by my ignorance to just have gone with the Pay go plan as I first intended I called customer support to see if I could cancel the contract I was sent papers and thought the matter was settled. However I pulled my credit report this week and there is a third paarty representing T-mobile claiming I owe $420.00. I have not received any notcices or phone calls from this collection company.
