T-Mobile
Criminally deceptive, even to a loyal customer Internet

Shops, Products, Services

I have been a loyal customer of T-Mobile since 2008. I've experienced minor issues here and there but for the most part, had enjoyed my experience with T-Mobile until this past month. I had a plan with 500 anytime minutes, unlimited text and web but I wanted more minutes since I had been in danger of going over. The customer service representative was nice and said she could give me 1000 minutes for $10 more a month and I agreed to this. She also tried to sell me unlimited data, which I turned down.

What she did not tell me was that she dropped my unlimited text from this plan. She could have said "Oh, your unlimited text cannot be applied to the 1000 minutes plan. You would be better off with unlimited talk, text and web." but she did not warn me at all. I texted as usual this past month, believing I had unlimited text as usual. Imagine my horror when I looked at my bill and saw $311.08 with massive overage fees. And this is due in December, with possibly an even higher bill due in January.

I even talked to another customer service representative who said all he could do was switch me to an unlimited everything plan but it would extent my contract to November and I would still have to pay for $308.11. Basically, they would get rewarded for fraudulently deceiving me by locking me down for another two years.

I'm very close to just eating the termination fee. But I wanted to share my story and bring this out to light... That I was loyal to T-Mobile, but they were anything but loyal to me.
