Free Portable DVD Player Promised for First Statement Never Sent

Directv ran an offer of a free portable dvd player just for signing up: send in your first statement and they would mail you a dvd player... We did exactly that, and guess what? Every time we asked, they said they were working on it, or it was on the way, or the offer was never theirs but came from a distributor of their network, not directv??? Sure, as if they did not know what was going on...
They still owe me a dvd player and $999,999.99, which includes my interest, pain and suffering, and physical damages to me and my wife. I lie awake every night worrying about that dvd player or the money... Anyway, the way I see it, everybody should stop paying to watch tv, since advertisers pay for the tv programs... Americans are stupid... Just like me...
