Free DVD Player Never Received After Following Sign-Up Steps

A free DVD player was part of the offer when I signed up. They told me to send in a form, which they would mail me, together with my first payment. Not until my second month's bill had arrived did I send that first payment. After many phone calls, I got one explanation after another, among them that Best Buy should provide the form. Best Buy had no clue what I meant.

I am very unhappy. It seems to me that I was deliberately misled and that DirecTV intentionally arranged things so I would never get this item.

By now, getting the DVD player matters less to me than not letting them get away with this lie.
