Printer marked delivered with signature that was not mine

This FedEx department was the most recent to botch a delivery for me. I ordered an All-In-One printer that was delivered by FedEx. The tracking said that it had been delivered and signed for, but on closer inspection I saw that the "signature proof" posted with their tracking info was not mine.

Luckily, this is a small town. I looked up the person's name and found their address several blocks away, and neither the house number nor the street name was anywhere close to mine. I called this person and they denied having anything addressed to me. HP is trying to resolve this problem, but FedEx denies any wrongdoing.

A couple of years ago I had the same kind of problem with another FedEx faction. I ordered a $1000 computer through Staples.com that was, oops, delivered to someplace in California instead of Minnesota, where I live. That also was a signed-for delivery.

Maybe FedEx just needs to hire delivery people who can read! Staples immediately sent me another computer, and I have no idea how long it took or whether they were able to make FedEx right their wrong.
