Items on consignment - sold? Never compensated

I took several 50's pieces to here to place on consignment. Her shop is always closed.in one phone conversation she said that the most valuable piece had been sold - then, in subsequent calls, she denied it. I never did get the pieces or any money back. She is evasive, the storefront itself is always closed, and she never returns her calls.

Once I did get her on her cell phone - and she promised to meet me at the store - but never showed up. I have also written her letter to which she failed to reply. She does many estate sales and I would like to warn others of her shoddy practices. The pieces I left were worth several hundred dollars.
