Ripoff conveniently loses merchandise

Do not patronize Dulce Interior Consignment in Dallas... They will "lose" your merchandise and not pay you for it!

Took several pieces of consignment merchandise into this dallas store. Received no communication from the store indicating that my product was sold and that I was due a check.

Had to make a special trip to the store to search out my items, when none of them were still in the shop, I inquired about their whereabouts. Was told that 3 of the 4 pieces were sold and that they were waiting for me to come and pick up a check.

That day received a check for 2 of the items, the check for the 3rd sold piece was due to be cut at the end of the month.

What has become of the 4th piece? No one knew. Owner/mgr of the shop was going to contact a former employee to see if the piece was sold and was told that he would call me back.

Surprise, never heard back! Had to make another trip to the shop to get update. Was told that they had "lost" the piece and that they were not responsible for items lost due to theft, fire, etc...

This was indeed in the contract I signed, but how convenient for them to lose merchandise and not have to pay the original owner for their merchandise!
