Collection Calls Continued After Paying Contract Buyout Figure

After being a customer for six months and dealing monthly with inept customer service, I requested information in writing on how much it would cost for me to buy out the remaining six months of my non-existent "contract".

They provided me a dollar figure which I gladly paid for them to go away. Three months later I started receiving collection phone calls.

Thank goodness I belong to a prepaid legal service. They have taken on the issues with DirecTV. They are working on several complaints from the state of Florida. Do I smell a possible class action suit for deceptive business practises. I sure hope so!
