We dropped off an expensive blouse to be "SPOT CLEANED" and the owner said he could do it, although strange he charged my mother FIRST before ever cleaning the garments. Either way, she shouldn't have paid, but she did.

When she picked up the items all of the sequines had been removed and there was a few white spots on the pair of pants. When I brought the items back, as my mother did not check them before leaving the store, to ask him what he would do to help replace the item. He was very indignant and only told me how he did nothing wrong and was in good standing with the "AMERICAN" Law and the FTC.

He is not American and barely spoke English and aside from that barrier I was trying to get answers not trying to be belligerent. However after I tried talking and asking questions he apparently didn't want to answer because he could and would only point to the FTC sign on the wall and told me to take the garment back to the Store it was purchased at that it was their fault. (Somewhere in there I must of forgot that Hecht's dry cleans their own clothes.)

Anyhow, after he told me as many times as he could that it wasn't his fault and that he was not responsible, I simply asked him why he did not return my call and he stated that he would no longer talk with me and walked away. At that point I did get belligerent and intend to make sure that everyone I know and run into will NEVER use his store. That is "BLUE FOX aka Town Valete Cleaners next to Ledo's pizza in Prince Frederick.

I realize mistakes happen, but he didn't offer anything, not the bill which was a FRACTION of the cost of the blouse. He didn't even apologize for the error. I understand America is a great place, but becoming FREE should require some Ethical training and doing the right thing.
