All Pro Van Lines Owner: Elijah Bowles, III ripoff, Lowball bait and switch, held furniture hostage, demanded cash pmt only., And Worcester, Massachusetts

They have offices in Worcester, Massachusetts and are based in South Florida. I called Bob to get an estimate on the furniture. Bob came over and gave me a written estimate and we set up a moving date of September 16. They came and loaded the truck. All was fine until they arrived in Florida where I met them to unload. There I was told the price had doubled, they would only accept cash and wouldn't move the furniture off the truck without the cash.

The police were no help. After the furniture was in I noticed the leather cushions were ripped, the wood furniture was gouged, scratched and surfaces were chewed apart as though the truck was in a horrific accident during the move. The movers signed a statement testifying to the intense damage. I repeatedly requested a claim form and it arrived late November. I completed and returned it with photos and now they are ignoring my calls to have it repaired. This would be laughable if I wasn't so heartsick.

This is now May 16 (8 months later). I've been calling and leaving messages every two weeks for the past eight months. This place is a first class scam operation.
