Verizon Wireless
Deceitful, misleading Ripoff

My plan with verizon wireless started with 400min. For approximately 1 1/2yrs., my bill stayed at about the same amount, which was between $45-$55. Once in awhile it would be at a higher amount, but nothing to alarm me.
Then, all of a sudden in Sept. it started.instead of the usual amount, it was over $200.00. When I called Verizon on this, they assured me that my bill was correct and that I could get another plan with more minutes (800) for a higher fee of course, but this would take care of the problem.
Since doing as they recommended, my bills have been outrageous to me. Everytime I call them, it's something different, plan changed in middle of month, therefore pro-rated? (which was not explained to me properly)
I terminated my contract early and was charged $175.00, which I was aware of. What they didn't tell me was that the remaining time of my contract had less min. Available to me. Because of their failure to do so, I am now charged with an additional $111.20, which brings my new total to $498.80.
On my last phone call with them, they offered to (give) me a certificate worth $50.00 that I could place toward my bill. I don't want the certificate, I want the $111.20 taken off my bill because no one bothered to tell about the remaining minutes.
These people do not bother to explain the important details to the public, (which I am sure this is how they are trained). Unfortunately, for the consumer this has cost us much.
