Installer Caused a Leak and Left the Job Unfinished

Real Estate

I paid for professional installation. The installer created a leak that he stated he was not allowed to fix. I had my neighbor, a licensed plumber, on site in less than five minutes. The installer stated that he would not wait the ten minutes for the repair, and he left. I had the option of paying my plumber for the install or rescheduling with Home Depot's incompetent installer.

They do not disclose to customers at the time of purchase that installers are not licensed plumbers and will leave the job site upon any problem, and you will have to hire a plumber anyway. Very poor place to do business with.
