No Delivery Attempt, Drove 90 Miles to Retrieve Package

Fed Ex usually delivers to my neighborhood in mid-afternoon. The feedback on the day the package was supposed to be delivered was that the office was closed or the customer was not available. Ha! The time given was 6:04 PM, and I was home. If they had even driven into the driveway, the dogs would have barked. The driver did not come and no notice was left. The package did not require a signature, so it could have been left.

I had to drive 90 miles round trip to the FedEx center to retrieve my package. At the distribution center, I was left standing around for over 5 minutes while a person sitting at a desk by the entry door completely ignored me. I was less than positively impressed by the person who finally came and retrieved my package after being oblivious about where it was.

FedEx has also delivered to a neighbor's house before, even though I was home and the correct address was clearly marked on the package. I used to like FedEx, but UPS and even the USPS look better and better.
