During two different times I have purchased TVs from Best Buy. For two separate reasons (one - 30 days old and the second was one week old) they had to be returned. The first TV I was offered NO assistance at all, no compensation, nothing. The second just happened this past weekend. I bought a new TV ($1000) and had it one week. It was installed by Best Buy and for a few days worked fine. We then left the house for a few days. Upon our return we turned the TV on, the screen shattered. WE returned the TV... They could and would not exchange it for a new one. I don't know what happened to it. They said a diagnostics was run before delivering and it was fine... But I'm here to tell you, it broke, NOW it's my problem.

I'm so disappointed with Best Buys policy of return. I have bought several appliances from Costco and hhGregg and have not ever had a problem with returns. They are anxious to exchange the item IN the STORE. I will never step inside of a BEST BUY again, and, if asked I will let others know of my concern for your policy. As a solution to the recent problem, the manager offered me a discount on another TV... But no compensation for the first one. I'm out $1000. Never again will I buy from BEST BUY.
