Sold us a sony bravia tv and will not honor sony's 30 day exchange warranty

We bought a sony bravia tv fromm hhgregg on december 5. We wrote a check and paid for the tv. On december 24th we called the store and told them about our problem. There was ablack line all the way across the screen. We were informed that hgregg did not have to honor sony's 30 day exchange policy.

We called sony and sony confirmed that sony had a 30 day exchange policy. That did not matter to hhgregg. We were told that they were not going to honor this because it was not there policy.

I would think twice before buying anything from this store again. After the ten days of warranty they want to repair what you bought for new. That is not much, this is the worst customer service that i have ever received
