Misrepresentation - and inaccurate bill

I received an ad in the mail for direct tv free installation and $29.99 per month for 12 months. My first bill was over $50 and I cannot get a decent response. I emailed explaining I wanted the service disconnected. Unfortunately - I expect this will end up going on my credit report as an unpaid bill. I will never deal with direct tv again!!
