Directv billing for service after cancelling

Electronics and household app.

Over a year ago we callled Directv to have it shut off after the payment that was last made runs out.
The did cance some of the programing but for what ever reason left on a few of the religious stations. We did not watch any programs on Directv because we believed it was cancelled.

We received a bill for over $300 saying we did not cancel and they had no record of it. (haha very convenient)

We talked to them and they said to send the last bill we paid and we did so.

We had nver been late or missed a payment in over 5yrs.

They would not do anything about the bill and it is on our credit report as bad credit.

We contacted the Attorney Generals office and they resent all the information to directv with the same result.

I really believe the biggest problem was that you always talk to a Foreigner usually and Indian and they lost something and the translation of cancelling our directv and of course would never admit this to anyone.
All we wanted was to get this off our credit report and we will NEVER pay this bill as we do not owe it. And never did.

We cannot help it if these companies choose to use people who can hardly speak English or understand it.
