$791.34 Taken From Checking Account After Cancelling Service

I cancelled Directv back on 10/21. I sent all of the boxes back to Directv. Directv took $791.34 from my checking account without my permission. They changed their policy about 4 months ago and are not telling anyone, so they can take money from everyone without their permission. What can be done about this? This is stealing from people.

I called and spoke to someone at Directv. She told me that this was their new policy and that they could not refund it back to my checking account. Then I finally asked for a supervisor, and he told me that there was nothing he could do about it. He also told me, after I finally had to get hateful with him, that he had submitted a request to reverse the charge, but we all know how that goes.

I went by my bank today and filed a dispute to get my money back, plus all of the overdraft fees they are causing me, along with the check that will not clear because of them. I will never refer Directv to anyone.
