Call to place an order for directtv. Sales person gave me a detailed list of option with the price. At the completion of the sales, I was given a monthly total of $ 79.00 per month and a delivery date of the next day or 3 to 5 days. The sales person gave me an account number, a confirmation number and the customer service number I was being transfered to.

The customer service person immediatly told me I had been given an outdated package and we would need to change the options, the installation wouldn't be until October 6 and jh, the montly total would be $ 99.00 per month. I was looking at a flyer we received in the mail the day before and I had the itemized break down from the first sales person and again I was told the amount would be $99.00. I asked to cancel the order.

If the total wasn't the same as what I originally was quoted, I wanted to cancel the order and I wanted a refund for the handeling fee I had paid. I was promised a refund in 3 to 5 days. Is the above change in package rates common after signing up for Directtv a common occurance?
