Worst builder, owes me 9k

I would also like to do a class action lawsuit with this builder. They had our home under construction for 27 months. We were told four monts prior to completion that the house would be done and ready in two weeks, so we sold our old house, and when the Groff house still wasn't ready a month later, we were forced to live in a hotel room with four kids under 6!

After daily phone calls from myself and my husband, three and a half months later our house was finally ready. We were told multiple times that we would get the money back for the hotel, but three months later, we have not seen it and no one answers the phone or gets back to us.

The house has tile work that is not finished in the master bath, crooked walls, a bathroom lanai door that is 1 inch into a shower stall so my daughter cannot take a shower without getting the wood door frame wet, my other bathroom door doesn't close because the top of the vanity sink is in the way, water spots on the ceiling from rainy season that the roof was only plywood, outlets that don't work, ceiling lights that don't work, only 1/2 of our full acre has sod even though we paid $7500 extra for the full acre to be sodded, all closet doors came off and had to be readjusted, most of the bedroom doors do not close due to uneven door frams and crooked walls, and the list goes on.

We also carried a construction loan, in addition to our mortgage on our old house, so during those 27 months, we also were paying 2 mortgage payments, with the exception of the time spent in the hotel.
I would not reccomend this builder to anyone, and I have every intention of sueing them.
