Took my computer into bestbuy to have video card upgraded. After giving the computer department my video card and computer I was told to return in an hour.
Apon returning i was told my computer was not compatible with the card I had picked. The invoice was taken and ripped up as i was told there would be no charge.
After returning home I noticed a crack in the computers case. After hooking up the computer I found it did not work. I promptly returned to bestbuy and asked what was going on. Beafore I had even explained what was wrong I was told by the Individual in the computer area "you must have damaged it in transport".
After speaking to the manager I was told that there was nothing I could do. I contactacted 1800-bestbuy. Who ferther insulted me by saying "prove we broke it".
After taking it to another computer repair shop I was informed that it appeared to have ben dropped. Further found that the video card I had chosen was indeed compatible with my system.
These scam artists indeed knew what they where doing and attempted to cover it up. Never trust them with your expensive equipment.
