The most untrustworthy company and unscrupulous employees! I had a complete new heating system installed last year which resulted in many come-backs to fix badly installed parts. Appointments were not kept without notification which meant that I had to call many times to ensure technicians would show up — already a bad indication!
At the start of this year's heating season, I called bacause the boiler would not start and the glass tube showing the water level was empty. The so-called "field supervisor" made a quick observation that the entire return pipe would have to be replaced as there is "a leak." This a job that he estimated would cost $2800 for the pipe and several thousand dollars to repair the damage caused by ripping out the entire length of the basement. He was quick to begin to write up the work order although I didn't understand how I am not seeing any leaking anywhere. He stated that, "I am an experienced professional and I know what I am talking about."
Thank G-d I called another "real professional" who told me that nothing of the kind is wrong and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. ANOTHER RIP-OFF ALMOST HAPPENED!!! I was also told that the installation was not up to industry standard and should be reported.
Any business who engages in practices to rip-off people should be exposed. Beware of heat span!!
