Package left at leasing office with no delivery attempt made

My package shipped on 12/17, and delivery was to be between 12/21 and 12/26. I called on 12/26 to find out why I had no package. I was told they had a PO address when they should have had a street address. FedEx was going to tell me which FedEx location I could go to for pickup. I am a senior who does not drive, so I told them they could return it to FootSmart, as I would not be picking anything up. They said they could schedule another delivery. I gave them my street address, which is my billing address, and rescheduled for a day I told them I would be in.

I was in all day Friday. Around 3 pm I called FedEx, only to find out they had delivered to the leasing office, which is another building. I waited all day listening for the door or a phone call to buzz FedEx in. No attempt was made to deliver the package to me. They just left it at the leasing office, no one notified me of anything, and I was left sitting indoors all day, wasting a whole day. Why would you drop off a package at the leasing office without making any attempt to deliver to the addressee?

I am very disgusted with FedEx service and will make further complaints about this to others, as nothing will be done about it. I know there have been other problems with some of my deliveries with FedEx, where they have called my apartment to say delivery, I buzz them in, and they never show up at my apartment. I find out later they delivered to the leasing office. The leasing office is in another building. Why ring me to find out that I am in, but then take my package to the leasing office? These people obviously do not care about making deliveries to the proper person or about customer satisfaction, just about doing the least amount to receive a paycheck.
