Ripoff Promised exchange for misrepresented purchase then failed to even respond when purchase returned

After buying Act! 2005 software, I found it was not Windows XP compatible as advertised, and requested an exchange for Act! 2006. Software Surplus agreed, and I returned Act! as instructed, on 6/23/07. Follow up e-mails on 6/29,7/2 and 7/6 requesting status were ignored. As of 7/24/07 I have not received any response to my return or the follow-up e-mails.

After checking out consumer complaints, I see I'm not the first person to be conned by this company.
