I ordered a $50 iTunes card with ditigal delivery for family member serving in Afghanistan. I'm a best buy employee so I could have purchased the card in the store and just mailed it to him but I knew the digital delivery option would allow him to receive the credit right away. Boy was I wrong. I got an email saying my order had been placed. So I sat waiting for the code to be emailed to him while he was near a computer. An hour later I received another email saying my order was cancelled because my information could not be validated. Apparently there was enough valid information for my checking account to receive the charge for the iTunes card which I would now not receive. I called bestbuy.com only for the some guy to tell me he doesn't know why my order was cancelled and because all my information was correct but it would take 5 to 10 business day to credit my account back. WHAT! It took less than 20 minutes to take the money out and when the company cancelled the order minutes later it'll now take 5 to 10 business days. His response was there was no way he could credit my account and I would have to wait. Needless to say, I went to wal-mart.com and ordered the same thing, at a cheaper price and got the digital code right away. I don't know how you expect your sales associates to direct customers to bestbuy.com when they know first hand the competition's online channel is far better.
