Power button failed and 12 month warranty voided on replacement phone

I had a Motorola droid replaced in July, 6 months ago, the power button felt a little funny when I got the replacement from Asurion, but I kept it and now 6 months later the power button is completely inoperable. I called Asurion about my issue and they told me that the 12 month warranty only covers internal problem not "physical issues" and that my 12 month warranty was voided. Really. So I would have to pay another $100 for a crappy refurbished phone that probably has some sort of issue as well. All I can say is stay away. Save your money.
