Sent me a replacement phone but then charged me $300 even with insurance on the phone. Turned out that the original phone's battery was bad, but Tmobile's IT department could not figure it out

Electronics and household app.

I started having problems with my Tmobile blackberry phone. The phone would turn off with a full battery power. I contacted Tmobile technical support.

After Tmobile IT could not figure out problem, they sent out a replacement phone. I was told that only if the phone had any water damage or any cracks would they charge me for phone. I sent back my phone with no water damage or cracks, but they still charged me for the replacement phone. They said there was a crack on the phone that was the reason for the phone turning off.

I called Tmobile to explain that the battery was the reason why the phone was turning off, and that their IT dept. Should have cought that since the battery also had a water damage indicator just like the phone has. Tmobile customer service said that my insurance on the phone would have covered the replcaement except that I needed to have requested them to do so instead of going through the warranty dept. Tmobile says its to late now, and cannot do anything for me.

I called Tmoile for support, and they could not find why the phone was turning off, so they decide to blame that some sort of crack on the phone had caused the phone not to work. I had to order a new battery on-line inorder to even get the new phone from having the same problem.

So, not only do i pay a fee for insurance incase my phone has issues; they also charged me $300 for the replacement phone.

Outragous!!!
