Disability Payments Stopped After Ten Years, $20,000 Still Owed

Aetna, after ten years of my disability, decided to stop my disability payments. WHY? Because I decided that the medication was not working and I could not afford the cost on what Aetna was paying. Every new pill that came along was tested on me, and at some point I became a addit. A year ago I was in major withdrawal, and totally unable to do anything I still have more bad days than good. Mr. David Burke decided to get my attention, by just stopping my check. The fact that I had just talked to these people the month before was to no avail. I had to see another doc. The cost at which Aetna pays nothing, but will grin and say that is not their problem (that would be Ms. Carrie Jo Peters). The doctor I found was not what I wanted, but a pill pusher instead, and since Aetna (Burke) insisted I comply within a 30 day time frame, I could do nothing else.

They still have not settled the $20,000 they owe (they paid $10,000 and said the rest would follow) it was stated in there letter 8 years ago, which I still have. Now I will have to find a lawyer, since they originally stated payments to continue till the year 2012.
