Aetna Disability They claim they overpaid in the sum of $ 20,000.00 and demand payment NOW! Lexington, Kentucky

Aetna was my short term and long term disability company. Payments were taken out my my pay bi-weekly from my job. I went out on MLOA the short term started after i was told i would not be returning to work and my short tern ended long term started. I applied for my socail security but was told it might take a few years to get it. I keep all my dr. Appointments as Aetna requested. And when i finally got my SS started i called and told Aetna so they could stop sending me payments on my claim. Everything went ok til i got a letter thru the mail informing me i owned Aetna $ 20,000.00 in overpaidment they had mailed me! Come to find SS wasnt paying me as much as Aetna so i told them to keep it { $ 100.00 } a month and take it away from the so called balance!!! Then the other day i got a call from a lawyer informing me Aetna was going to sue me for the remaining balance! Igot just enough money from SS to pay my rent and other bills and have maybe $ 50.00 left to buy food with! You ever try to leave on fifty dollars a month if it werent for my church we would strave! I know times are hard right now but i dont understand they overpaid me!!! And to top it off Aetna sent paper work to the IRS stating i hadnt paid taxes on this money. But i sent them paperwork showing this was a disability claim not sick pay and it was already taxed so i didnt have to pay taxes again!!
